ABOUTUS

We are two high-schoolers Dylan Foley, and Rowan Carney. We founded fix the beep because of a teacher at John Burroughs Middle School who kept on repeatedly hearing beeping noises in the back of kids zoom calls- they were fire alarms. It was found very distracting and it was also going on for a very long time. It became obvious that the kids and their families probably didn't know how to fix it, or contact the landlord for other personal reasons. Therefore, we founded fix the beep to distribute not only our fire safety kits to help change the batteries, but also information on the most important goal which is how to make an appointment to replace smoke alarms for free through www.mysafela.org.
